This Privacy Policy explains how MEPSelect (“MEPSelect,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit mepselect.com, request a quote, create an account, or otherwise interact with our services. MEPSelect currently operates in the United States only.

• Order and shipping information — billing and shipping addresses, the equipment you select, and contractor or installer details where applicable.
• Project information — details you share when requesting a quote or specifying a job, such as building type, square footage, and equipment requirements.
• Communications — messages you send us through email, contact forms, or customer support.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies— used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and attribute marketing performance. See “Cookies and Tracking” below.

Information from third parties

• Payment processors — when we begin accepting payments, our payment processor will share limited transaction details (such as confirmation, last four digits of the card, and billing ZIP). 3. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as described below:

• Service providers — vendors who help us operate the business, including hosting, email delivery, analytics (Google Analytics 4, Rally Attribution, Ahrefs Analytics), customer support tools, and our future payment processor. These providers are contractually limited to using your information only to provide services to MEPSelect.
• Manufacturers, distributors, and contractors — when you request a quote or place an order, we share the information needed to fulfill that request, such as the equipment selected, shipping address, and project specifications.
• Legal and safety — we may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, necessary to enforce our terms, or necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of MEPSelect, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers — if MEPSelect is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality (such as keeping you signed in), for analytics through Google Analytics 4 and Ahrefs Analytics, and for marketing attribution through Rally Attribution. You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or opt out of marketing communications, by emailing support@mepselect.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe consistent with applicable law.

Our site may link to third-party websites, including manufacturer product pages and contractor profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies before providing personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the site or by email where appropriate.
