Returns & Refunds

Last updated: April 16, 2026

How Returns Work

Installable equipment is not a typical retail purchase, so we handle returns on a case-by-case basis. To start a return, contact us at support@mepselect.com before sending anything back. We'll review your request and, if approved, provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. Returns sent without an RMA may be refused.

Restocking Fee

Approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund. This fee covers manufacturer and distributor restocking charges, inspection, and repackaging.

Return Conditions

  • Equipment must be unused, uninstalled, and undamaged.
  • All original packaging, manuals, accessories, and labels must be included.
  • Custom-built, special-order, or made-to-order equipment is non-returnable.
  • Equipment that has been installed, modified, or wired in is non-returnable.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is the result of our error or a damaged or defective item. We recommend insuring return shipments — items damaged in return transit may not qualify for a full refund.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your equipment arrives damaged, note the damage on the delivery receipt and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. See our Shipping Policy for inspection details. For manufacturing defects discovered later, warranty claims are handled through the equipment manufacturer; we will help you initiate the claim.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund to the original payment method. Refunds are typically issued within 5–10 business days of inspection. The 10% restocking fee, any outbound shipping charges that were paid, and any return shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted from the refund.
